Just a few blocks from Reval Park Hotel & Casino is the medieval Tallinn Old Town which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its oldest walls, towers and churches date back to the 13th century. Winding cobbled streets lead to merchants’ houses, courtyards and handicraft stalls. Tallinn’s Old Town has two parts: Toompea, where once the noble families lived who ruled this country, and Lower-town. Recently renovated Estonian History Museum is also located in the old town, as well as the Estonian Maritime Museum, which will shortly move into new and bigger space.

Kadriorg Palace in the Kadriorg Park was built by Italian architect Niccolo Michetti for Tsar Peter I. The Palace is now home to the Foreign Art Museum of Estonia, and the nearby Mikkel Museum has a collection that includes Rembrandt etchings. Kadriorg Park, which is a favourite pastime place for both the locals and tourists, is also home for Estonian Art Museum KUMU. This modern building, opened in 2006, houses the only national collection of Estonian art, but constantly changing exhibitions also display works of art from all over the world.

Rocca al Mare Open Air Museum is a unique collection of old Estonian buildings on a 79-hectare by the Baltic Sea. See the farm houses, wind- and watermills, listen to folk music and celebrate the holidays of Estonian folk calendar.

Islands in the Bay of Tallinn are remarkable sites to visit as a day trip. On Naissaar and Aegna islands you can take a cycling tour or you can go and discover the islands on your own by a ferry, which leaves from Tallinn Old City Harbor.
